EXACTLY!!!!!!!
OH, the plans I had and all of the things I swore I would never do. Looking back, I can't help but laugh at myself! I ended up doing things I swore I would never do.
For example, I read all of "the books" from the so-called experts about parenting and raising children. When the baby was born...I realized they didn't know what the HELL they were talking about!
Then I did some research- some of the authors didn't even have kids themselves! Hmph!
Bottom line- you will know what to do when the baby gets here- follow your instincts.
