Character will still have "trigger" for feelings, e.g.does excercises and pulse rate goes up, assumes he/she is dying of heart attack 'cos parent did at young age, also have in common compulsive behaviour when stressed like pull out hair, hide under desk/table/in closet, hperventilates etc., pinches skin or causes pain to self in some way as distraction.
