Image if a person knew there will be hard labor, would they commit crimes? I don't think so, right now most of them knew if they ended up in jail, all they do is loafing, eat, sleep, that is it. Too easy for them, and they usually don't mind that at all.. That is the problem...

I prefer them work 14-16 hours a day no break, no vacation, no nothing, just work... they will end up hate it so much and will straight themselves up in no time..

As for this teenager criminal, the best thing is labor camp or boot camp and this person will definetly change to decent citizen in about 10 years.
