I did them all... My stay in Netherlands were 6 months long... The foods are good, one can adjust to their foods there... Yeah, mostly dutch beers!
Keep in mind, all beverages sold are in 8oz size eh... I mean soda are served in 8oz glass not 16oz glass like most restaurant in USA do. Bars serve beers in 8oz glass with thick head! Meaning the fluid of beers are between 6 to 7 oz with foam on top. One can ask for large glass like a beer mug which is 16oz are available for extra charge.
back in 96 it cost me 2.50 guilders for 8oz soda or beers which means about 1.50 US Dollar back then. I don't know how much it cost now... I am sure dmp would know the cost and exchange rate this year.
