Download theoretical peaks
Rev0 - 2.4Mbps
RevA - 3.1Mbps

Upload theoretical peaks
Rev0 - 144Kbps
RevA - 1.8Mbps

Latency (lower is better)
Rev0 - 150ms-400ms or higher
RevA - as low as 50ms in best cases
HSDPA - 120ms-400ms or higher

But again, I dont have HSPDA and really can't comment much about it. I only really can comment on EVDO side as I work with it at my job.

Keep in mind, comparing speed tests for different tech is like comparing apple and orange. Also, limiting factors is transport capacty at each cell site.. Most cell sites typically carry only two T1 for DATA only which limits to 3mbps and it SHARES with other users. Bigger sites may carry more capacty as needed. Smaller site only have ONE T1 (1.5mbps MAX)..

Also, if you are TOO close to cell site, you will get CRAP speed compared to 100-500 feets away. Reason for that, if you are too close to between 2 sectors or in between 2 cell sites, your phone ping-pong handoff between these 2 sites which affects perforance.

[note: where is that spell checker?!?]
