I dont think kids under 10 years of age should be dying their hair or having treatments such as a perm done to it.

But crazy haircuts don't bother me that much, especially on young children. Its just something the kids like and find fascinating. But there is a certain line I wont cross though. Im not going to le my DD get a boy cut at age 4, when she's 14 and can take care of her own hair, then it's up to her what she wants.

I think schools need to step back and think for a moment - that at age 4 the kid is highly unlikely involved in gang activity. If he's got discipline problems, then they need to be dealt with accordingly, not blame everything on a haircut that the school dislikes.
