Ditto. (Not that I 'love' him. I was just glad that he was back for another television show.)
When I first saw
Stargate SG-1, I was like... "Whoa, he's back! Awesome!" I always thought he had this cool attitude and goes with the flow instead of having to have everything planned in specific details. That's the same attitude he had as MacGyver.
What's funny and ironic is that they used the word "MacGyver" in the pilot episode of
Stargate SG-1. When Carter went through the stargate and saw the DHD for the first time, she was so impressed and said... "Amazing. This is what was missing from the dig at Giza. This is how they controlled it. It took us 15 years and 3 superconductors to MacGyver a system for the gate on Earth. Look how small it is!"
