Well, it would depend on how you meant that. With most mental disorders, one has a genetic predisposition. Whether or not that predisposition ever becomes manifest and produces symptoms depends on the environment one is exposed to. That is what I meant by them being "made". Expose anyone with a predisposition to a traumatic environment, and the disorder can manifest. Likewise, someone can have a genetic predispositon but a healthy environment and never show symptoms of the disorder.
