I forgot to answer the part about sick stuff---my girls have not been sick much all their lives. Not even an ear infection! However, a couple colds a year. Each girl had something major once, and BOTH times just off a plane.
My older girl came down with gastrointestinal infection that lasted for over two weeks. the poor thing. My younger girl, barely a couple months old, came down with croup which made it difficult for her to breastfeed. When she got over the croup, she was fine breastfeeding.
Viruses like the cold environment, ya know?
