I would use my common sense to determine whether what they were wearing was a good or bad fashion statement.
If they wanted to rip up every one of their clothes, wear chains all over, and wear "I LOVE SATAN!" T-shirts... I'd say, "No."
If they wanted to wear baggy jeans (as long as they don't walk like they are gun-carrying ghetto gangsters with their pants down so low that their boxers/under show), then I'd be fine with it.
