My question is why didn't the woman who ran to get her binoculars run out to the workers to deter them from harming the goose? If she spent time running to get the binoculars, she could've spent the time running to prevent the unnecessary geese deaths.

Maybe the woman was afraid that they would wring HER neck! I wouldnt want to approach 3 guys torturing animals..who knows what they would do to me!
