Sounds like a right on book. Have you ever heard of the PNAC? This was a foreshadowing of the Neo-con war plan before they got Bush into office. It will scare the hell out of you. There plan was to first take Afghanistan, then Iraq, then Iran, and continue on to syria, Lebanon etc. Their logic? If we controlled the middle east oil, we could control China and the world. They put this plan on the Web years before Bush got elected. They were trying to get others to sign on to it. They sent it to Clinton and tried to get him to sign on. Clinton declined. Finally, they stole the election (twice) and they are just going about getting what they wanted to begin with. In the meantime, the war has caused oil prices to escalate, and Exon Mobile and Haliburton are drinking it up. It is an interesting thing to read if you get the chance. THe American Enterprise Institute were the ones who originally put it on line, but they have taken down their original version and replaced it. It is still out there on other websites though. It was never about WMD, It was always about profits, while little children are having their limbs blown off, and no medical care, no morphine etc, the elite just keep piling up their wealth. If they want to have a war for no reason, they should be the ones on the front lines, and if they say they take responsibility for it, then they should pay the American people back out of their own pockets for the blood and treasure they have wasted. Forgive me if I sound unpatriotic, but I think supporting the troops means to keep them from harm unless it is necessary, and then we should have a freakin plan and be in the right before we commit them to sacrifice so much. The suicide rate in the Military has reached a staggering high now,,, the costs will be hard to count until the future reveals the truth. Thanks for the heads up on the book. It looks like it is really worth reading...
