I'm a 21 year old Deafie named Brian (at birth) but Bri (by nickname).

I lost most of my hearing due to Bacterial Meningitis at the age of three years and lost my ability to walk and talk as well... After five years of extensive speech therapy, I was able to recover my ability to talk and move forward from there.

I was mainstreamed, graduated high school with a high GPA.

Now I'm at Concord University in Athens, WV, and pursuing a major in Elementary Education (K-6) with emphasis in Special Education and a goal to teach the Deaf in public schools, or teach at a Deaf school.
