I love going to Canada on occasion. And on those occasions when I do meet up with the locals who invites one to go drinking.

During our chats the conversation would normally turn to "America bashing". I would sit there and let them have their day.

Then one would say, "Hey, where are you from?"

"America."

Everyone in the group would then shut up fast!

Then one would say..."You don't act like an American." Uh....what does an American act like in the eyes of Canadians?
