yes for those cows that i havent pet or played with. as long as they r bought from store is ok with me.. but the cows that we had as a pet? Heck NO!
my mom got a calf and we raised him.. we raised him on bottle. I pet him and kissed him. we played tags etc. he grew big and bigger. always play with the bucket he would hit the bucket to me and i would push bucket bck to him. he was so smart and sweet.
then one day mom said dinner is ready and we all sit down and gather foods onto our plates. I sit down and started to eat well almost. I asked her where did she get the meat? because i didnt go to store and buy meats? She said it is the Star, the cow that we had. i said I wont eat that! freezer was full of meats. I refused to eat that. I loved Star. I was sad that my mom had him killed.
I am animal lover but i do eat meats as long as I DONT know who it is. If it was the pet that I played with and raised etc I wont eat that, no way jose!
