Advice

I used to be a long distance runner. I would run around 5 miles every day, regardless of the weather. Then I got married and had to work at least two jobs while going to school full time...then came a baby...and another. Needless to say, I stopped running because my schedule was extremely hectic and it was too hard to find someone to keep both kids while I did my daily runs. And I miss running so much- I feel free when I run. Now that the baby is older I think I can start again. It will be a challenge because I'm a single mom and will have to be creative on finding a way to do it.

But - I need some advice. I know I will need to start slowly. Should I do brisk walking first? Light jogging? Any ideas on how to include a 6 year old and a 1 year old into my daily runs? I know I can use a jogging stroller for the baby, but how can I involve my 6 year old?

Thanks.
