There are several easy to purchase alternatives to cow's milk. The most popular, soy milk, is almost always sold fortified to equal or exceed the calcium and vitamin qualities of cow's milk. One very popular brand, Silk, even markets a specific flavor of soymilk for children. Almond milk is also fairly common, as is rice milk, but these may or may not have as much calcium and vitamins.

A vegan DOES have access to all food groups- just through different foods.
