Wow, I'm surprised that your friend did other way, when I got hired for full time, never been switch from part time into full time.
What's his position? If he's stocker and just better to stock so quickly to meet their company guideline for groceries but depends on area that where you worked, plus GM side is just different guideline, I work in GM area at all time right now because my store is just regular, no supercenter.
I had seen some employees are so slow with their job and never got coached, some stores are lucky, some aren't.
