We are not denying anything the problem is you want all deaf people to be like you. New flash: "No deaf person is the same as another deaf person, what is best for one child is not necessarily best for all" You need to be a little bit more sensitive to differences in deaf people.

Parents may not made the best decisions for us, but we were given the best chance in life, some of us learned to speak, learned to lip-reading, learned to sign.

I have no problems with currently parents nowadays having deaf children be able to speak and use sign language, I don't agree with speaking only, or sign language only, It's unfair for deaf children shouldn't have access to full communication tools. They deserved all the equal rights as much as hearing children do.

Being deaf doesn't mean deaf people should only require to learn sign language, Deaf can do anything, but practice comes along to it. they have the ability to learn to speak, they have the ability learn to lip-reading, they have the ability learn to signs. Why limited their rights of ability? It does not make no sense, it isn't about you, or me, it's about every deaf children out there. I prefer them to learn it all.
