While we're waiting, here's a Valentine's Day Bonus Special:
This ASL idiom you won't have to guess (courtesy of ASLPro's "onversational phrases"). The English version is "Fall head over heels in love."
To say it in ASL, place the tip of the horizontal right index finger at your slightly parted lips, then dive the finger down to the open left hand held palm up, waist high. Skim the right index finger off the palm like a touch-and-go airplane and point it outward.
Now all you have to do is sign "I" in front of it and afterwards point to your valentine. Voilą! You're an instant romantic.
