People are abhorred that a mother allowed men to sexually abuse her daughter and allow her to be impregnated.

It appears from this article that, other than the mother, no one else even knew the girl was pregnant until she went to the hospital for delivery. A little late for an abortion, eh?
Suppose the girl's mother had found out she was pregnant right away and took her for abortion, then what? Take her home and let the guys abuse her some more?
The important issue in this situation is the abuse and lack of care that the girl experienced.
