I am total speechless... I feel want to adopt poor and innoncent deaf child. 
It reminds me of my friend *A*. It was happened to her, too.
*A* born and raised in North Germany before married and move to live in Bavaria where we live. *A* know and accept her parents for see her as a hearing person. They send her to boarding school... until Sommer school vacation. 12 years old *A* was expected to pick up by her parents & siblings from school. She waited and waited with her teacher for her parents to pick her up but they doesn't come... It got teacher worried and thought something happened on their way to school... so she called at parent's house but the phone line were dead. *A* & her teacher went parent's house and got strange feeling and called Police... They found out that *A*'s parents were gone - all of her furniture are empty... but it look like that they move out... *A* stayed with her teacher for a while until they searched her parents... Her parents & siblings were out of Germany to where??? They found out that *A*'s parents were planned for long months... None of parent's employers know where they are. Just give them their notice in and simple disappeared... Very sad...  Now *A* is happily married & have 2 adult children and already have a Grandchild. She thought about her parents sometimes and keep ask herself why her parents did to her... Its painful of her.
