Yes I hate hate credit history also!! I agreed with you Sequoia...they are such so NOSY!! UGH!
Some are 7 years and some are 10 years...10 years for bankrupting. It does hurt!!!
My ex ruined mine credit and had to file one. So I think I have 6 years to go. GRRRRRRRRRRR! I really want to start all over but how? That's only way I can do and I do not have a choice either. So once it is pass 10 years I will ONLY get ONE credit card...no more than 1! Just one, period! And keep it clean and easy for me to get car or house or whatever in the future.
