Your local police station should have (or at least can refer you to one) a certified car seat specialist who can look over your car seats to make sure it's being properly installed, etc. Also, you may be surprised to know that not all car seats are compatiable with all cars/trucks/suv...there's a website (I can't remember where) that you can check to see if your car seat is compatiable with what you are driving.
