I'm confused about the original posting.
The hearing parents are complaining that the hearing children are bothered by the FM system? What exactly is the problem?
Over the years, I've interpreted for Deaf students in various schools, and they used FM systems. The teachers wore a lapel mike, and the Deaf students wore OTE receivers. I've never heard any sounds coming from the equipment or affecting the hearing students. Are there different kinds of systems that are audible to the hearing people in the classroom? I've never experienced that kind.
