Interesting. I had an FM system for many years and it saw me through university as well. I loved it as it made me feel I was in a small room with just me and the speaker. I never had anyone complain about it though. Mine was pretty old by todays standards.

I had more complaints about feedback from my hearing aids when I used to wear them.
