Did you read my post on what it means? Let me repeat this for you to read. Please read before you get your facts straight.

Washing fruits and vegetables will not make it organic.

Organic means they are grown without use of pesticides to prevent the bugs from destroying the crops, or adding bad stuff to the food like genetically modified products or unprocessed and raw with no added uneccessary indegredents. This is why they are more expensive than non-organic food due to lot of labor involved to make sure there are no pests wrecking hovoc on the crops. They do not always include fruit and vegetables, but can be wheat products, grass products and many other stuff. You are eating the poisionous tracts of pesticides/man made food products added to it in your system.

The certificated organic fruit and vegetables requires 3 years worth of growing on the farms and it will be certified after approving it.

I have found organic foods generally taste better than the non organic versions.

This is for everyone to read, for some who do not know what organic really means.
