Horray!

Thanks for the announcement, I've been looking forward to this for a while.

I enjoyed watching the first Intrepid episode, the English subtitles were nice overall but I'd like mention two small problems I found.

1) When watching "Heavy Lies the Crown" apostrophes do not always display correctly, and it's inconsistent. It looks like you used two different characters and one of them isn't "crossing over" correctly. (almost every time "S'Ceris" is displayed correctly but often all other words look like "you?re" and "I?ve" )

2)Often there are too many words displayed at a time.
one example:
"Gentlemen, please. This is an argument for another time. I appreciate starfleet's efforts on our behalf but my decision is made."

This would be much better spit in half (between "..another time." and "I appreciate..") when in doubt, separate the sentences, we can read fast

3) -- I thought of this as I was typing number two. when I watch the subtitles, some times there is a line with only one word, and thus, dialog that should only take two lines takes 3 or 4. I suspect that you might have a bunch of extra "carriage returns" in the original text file. It might not be hard to take those out, might be good to take all of them out.. so not really a problem but something that can help readability.

For viewing ST:Intrepid with subtitles:

I downloaded the latest VLC (0.8.6c)

I tweaked the settings for subtitles
(Preferences>Video>Subtitles/OSD>Text Renderer)
Text default color : Olive
Relative font size : Large
Font Effect : outline

I find it much easier to read the subtitles with my settings this way,
(I tried taking screenshots but it just dosn't work. )

I can't tell you enough how much I appreciate English subtitles! I hope you find my feedback useful.
