I am familiar with the law of Turkey and America which different as EU law.
Yes I do read that "fondling" in the article and call it as "amuse" in my previous post. "fondling" is not physical voilience... but touch gently in a loving or caress way because it belongs two people who want each other with no physical force, etc.
Yes Marco & his family know Turkey's law since they went there 9 times but the problem is a girl lied him about her age.
The article do not say what and how Marco did but I would assume that it is not sex assault/forcement or sex contact. Accord German media, Marco took very badly as the police told him about girl's age and said that he would not involve with minor in first place. He know it's crime and also know German law will punish him if he have a sex with minor or sex assault/molestation on minor and legal age victim.
Marco hope that a girl will tell the truth and then let him free... or the parents of girl withdrew their legal complaint.
Many Germans guess something do with the reason why Turkish Government refused to deliever him to Germany is because Turkey's application for join EU are being rejection. Oh Well, I beleive their application would be accept only if they respect human rights and international law.
