Oh I know what you're talking about here, my children had those camping programs booklets that were send home from their schools...Really, most schools send home flyer's/booklets of camping, YMCA, and other programs for children or their parents who wish to participate, and face many challenges but that doesn't mean the schools are responsible to make sure these programs do provide service for the children with needs but however some of these programs are budget cut or non-profit from federal funds...These sort of summer or after school programs provide the opportunities to participate in physically activities, learning experiences, training skills, educational, developing friendship, sense of belonging and etc, these types of programs impact on a child's developments and quality of life... I enrolled my two sons in YMCA programs a couple of years ago by given them an opportunity to enjoy the activities and made new friends too and they love it, that why schools are sending home flyer's/booklets to give children an opportunity to join and have fun etc...

Why not look around and find out if there are any other programs for children with disabilities so that your girls can participate with children like themselves?...If I was hearing, I would be more than glad to volunteer by interpretering for your daughter....
