One of my daughters is 15, and her boyfriend is 18, as they met through work, and they are happy together. We invited him to come to our Family Holiday two weeks ago, and his parents came along too
It is perfect normal in Australia.
Remember age is just a number.
I think American laws are old fashion, they should lower the age limit - like drinking alcohlic etc, and it need to be review.
