I agree on some of these things they don't like but not all of them.
They do the same on wasting gas in SUVs. Heck, the price of gas is something like 25 cents or less on the gallon (for them). SUVs are all over the place in the Arab world. There are lots of Mercedes too!
You haven't seen Dubai City lately have you? There are lots of modern buildings (just google it).
