Thanks for telling me.. I'm not looking for burning to DVD.. Just wanted to have recorder.. whenever I get home from work or whatever and play from recorded.. And deleted it.. That's all I needed.. Anyway, I did buy ATI HDTV Wonder and been messing around for 2 days.. And I have to say overall is OK.. But I have few details about ATI HDTV Wonder with 3rd Party software (showing in
blue...)
ATI Multimedia Center -
Pros:
Supported CC!
Able to watch with CC from recorded.
Cons:
No TV Guide.
Manual Schedule Recorder Time.
Only Pause.. Can't have forward from LiveTV.
SageTV and BeyondTV -
Pros:
TV Guide.
LiveTV playback.
Cons:
No CC Supported except PVR-250 or PVR-350 (Hauppauge) will work and BeyondTV isn't supported CC yet also..
Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 -
Pros:
CC Supported
Able to watch with CC from recorded.
TV Guide (Ugly!).
Cons:
Must use MUTE to enable CC (Can't have that!)
Don't like the way CC looks such as showing: 567 lines instead of 789 lines.
That is all for now.. I can't think of anything else.. About to return the ATI HDTV Wonder unfortunately since there's NOTHING what I wanted for that kind of PVR..
So, whenever I have something in mind, I'll post for sure.. Sounds like there's only way to have TiVo???
But it sucks for not having own HTPC..
