It is sad for some heterosexual people and their wrongized generalization on gay people.
I have gay friends since high school, and I appericate them as they are full of human souls as we are and there is no point to think about them differently, expect to be aware that their sexual interest are ONLY different! Just ONE thing!
I usually support friends during the coming-out-of-closet era, and it happened to me several times to give them unconditional support during high school and college years. It led me into the counseling profession as well.
