quatsch, no, German restaurants do not force you to pay in advance. If you go to fast food restaurants like McDonald's and so on, then yes, you pay in advance. But in local restaurants, you pay AFTER your meal, just like in America.
Mein Gott, I would never order that huge Currywurst. When I lived in Germany, I loved going to this fast food restaurant called Currywurst and eat currywurst often! I miss Currywurst. They were regular sized like bratwurst etc...
When a friend and I were in Las Vegas recently, we visited Hofbrauhaus in Las Vegas. It was cool, and I ate Weisswurst with pretzel and sweet mustard, and drank Weissbier. (
