Right on, you hit the nail. Did you know that Sorenson renamed the installer to trainer? So, it is more accurate. Much education needs to be done on the end user. Usually, trainer will show the "Dial VRS" button and enter the voice number. User will ask what are the other VRS numbers. At that point, the user will realize single provider and decide from there. No problemo with FCC's "informed consent"

So, it is either now or later when the user really realizes.

BTW, it takes only one minute to config' the router for many installations.

Looks like we all are beating the same dead horse to even more deader.

First off, the installer has spent some time in your home already. They had to set up the TV and the videophone, and possibly even configure your router. Now, to stop at the "I Agree" screen at this point would be just silly. The installer wants to get paid, so they'll explain that it's no big deal and nothing bad is in there anywhere. Of course, you'll find that out LATER.
