Ever heard of an "AMA form"? If not, it's a form that the nurse makes you sign when you want to walk out of a hospital before they think you are ready. "AMA" stands for "against medical advice". Basically, they don't care if you leave or not, but when you do leave, they don't want you suing them when the blood clot that is in your leg travels to your lung and kills you. That's why they are a pain in the ass, and get alittle cranky, when you start walking out the door with the IV still attached.
