Or set a bag of cold, well whatever you can make up in your house, ziploc baggie of ice with a towel around it, etc. on top of your head. It slows down the blood pumping through your head. Same effect the above is going for, whichever you prefer the shower or tub I guess. (with the exception that you aren't experiencing any blood pressure issues because hot baths can effect this, I got in a hot bath once while I had pre-eclampsia and couldn't feel my legs when trying to get out, a crazy funny story!!!)
Warm baths never did anything for me. Damn near made it worse. I can remember crying, sitting in the bath, in the middle of the migraine trying to swallow a Tylenol, and praying I didn't throw up into the tub. The best thing for me was ice, lots of it and getting to sleep as fast as I could (hard to do). Prayers to anyone that deals with these headaches on a regular basis.
