I believe this man's rights were violated! He should complain to NAD or ADA about this problem! I mean law enforcement should know that he needs an interpreter when he cannot speak and only signs. And I don't know how well his children knows sign language but sometimes children should not be involved with this kind of situation; interpreting for the dad, etc. I mean I believe they should tell what they saw because they are the witnesses, and thats all they should do, tell them what they saw. But still, i think law enforcement should learn about Deaf culture and learn what they need and why they need it so that way they don't have to put up an attitude with us, and to avoid making the situation worse than it already is.
