I would say that any mixed breed dog would be best as long as you only get one. Most mixed breed dogs are easy to train and are smarter. When you only get one, it's also easier to train that way as well. Here's my NUMBER ONE RULE... NEVER get a dalmation! They are too damn hard to train and are definitely not house dogs! I've got two and they are HELL to deal with!
