VR people are pretty much swamped with requests, so I doubt you will ever see an email reply for months. Suggest you walk in their office and apply. Don't let them see the smart side of you, though.
Again, you will need proof that you are deaf. There are many people out there trying to milk the system, so they are weeding out those 'milkers'.
