Look up the Howard County Association for the Deaf

Howard County for the Deaf

They have signed suppers often, where you can mingle and practice sign. They just had a meal in Scaggsville, they should get the new ones up soon enough.

There is also Deaf Chat Coffee, which is an informal meeting at various coffeehouses. The seem to have two in Glen Burnie and one in Nottingham. I've been to these in three states and they have always been enjoyDeaf Chat Coffee, able. You don't have to be deaf, just need to be willing to learn and use sign. If you're not fluent, bring a pad of paper and a pen.
