However, exposing a child to a language is absolutely nothing like a CI. A language is not invasive and can be dropped and forgotten. A CI is permanent. Even if it is no longer used it will forever effect a person.
I agree that visual language should be given, but NOT giving auditory information forever changes a brain too. Why not give everything you can?
