Nope, you still don't understand,

Whenever there is NAT involved, you should be able to identified yourself easily. If the IP address shows private IP address, then there has to be firewall involved,.

That Cisco modem that I know of, pass with public IP address, that is why there isn't firewall set up.

Your modem DOES have firewall. check this website, it outlines specifications for Cisco CISCO677, look under firewall, there is information there
