1. what hearing aids do you wear? -- Oticon Digifocus Super Power IIs
2. How good are they? -- really good, i think. I haven't really found another hearing aid that compares to them and they no longer make these anymore
the closest thing are the Phonak Naidas.
3. Do they help you hear everything you want? -- lol, well no. i'd love to hear high frequencies! and have better speech discrimination. i really rely on both hearing sounds and lipreading to fully understand what is being said.
4. Are they uncomfortable? -- Nah. only sometimes after i've been wearing them like ALL day, do the tops of my ears (where the hooks rest) get a bit sore. There are some sounds that can be a lil too loud to me that makes my ears "itch"
5. What degree hearing loss do you have? -- severe to profound sensorineural. approximately a 85-90 dB loss in both ears.
