With all due respect, this isn't about Hear Again. It's about Travis and I'm the one that raises the question of his stability. She's more than welcome to agree with me if she chooses as it's a free country. She happens to be right.
Travis is newly diagnosed and hasn't had time to adjust to his medication yet. He has expressed suicidal ideation on, at least, two occasions on this forum. He overdosed on thorazine (an antipsychotic) and in a seperate incident, he also expressed the desire to overdose on klonopin, an anti seizure medication that is also used as a tranquilizer and is used in the treatment of bipolar disorder and anxiety disorders. I have lived with the illness myself, although, I was diagnosed with bipolar II. Stress absolutely can aggravate the illness and I really believe that moderating this forum would be a mistake for Travis right now. Maybe after he's had time to adjust to his medications and has gotten stable in other ways, then he can consider this, but I would beg him to reconsider this at present.
Encouraging someone to make friends can be very good, but not this way. He is very likely to crash and burn and I'm sure none of us wants to see that happen; lease of all me.
