Actually, this is the worst thing Travis could do.
Modding on any forum is very time consuming; especially on a popular forum such as this one is. Travis would be better off focusing on himself and getting himself stable before he undertakes anything that could be stressful and demanding. Bipolar disorder is often aggravted by stress and I honestly think that this would not be a good idea for him right now. Maybe later and after he is more emotionally stable, he can revisit this, but I think it really would be a bad idea right now.
