they provided a unit that senses if there's an alarm going off and it will strobe/vibrate my bed. policy is that the RA has to go knock on all of the suite doors if there's an alarm or emergency...since i don't hear it, this was also identified as a potential problem...so they gave me a doorbell that i have to put on the door. i ended up posting a sign saying "please push only in case of emergency or fire alarm"...but it still is awkward...
