Hear Again,
Without taking the time to do a word for word transcript, I'm going to break down the crux of the video for you. I skipped the intro section for the sake of time.
First section: Mainstream Education
Man enters business, writes on a piece of paper, and hands it to the receptionist. She is on the phone. She reads what he has written, shakes her head "No." and continues on the phone. He looks confused and points at something. She again shakes her head "No." He gestures for her to pay attention, and points again. She stands up to escort him from the room. He stops by a sign that says, "Help Wanted." The caption in the next frame reads "Should you care?"
Second section: Oral education
A girl approaches a group of signers in a restaurant/bar. She indicates that she is deaf. One of the signers attempts to communicate with her in sign. The orally educated girl obviously does not understand. This exchange continues with both trying to communicate with the other. Unable to bridge the gap, the signing woman goes back to chatting with her friends, and the oral deaf girl wanders off. She then approaches two hearing people. The same problems with communication occur. The oral deaf girl eventually gives up and wanders outside, where she signs, "Its not fair!" The caption in the next frame reads, "A Common Barrier."
Third section: Educated at a Deaf School
Deaf girl is sitting in a college classroom looking at an essay. She lays it on the desk looking frustrated. Camera focuses on paper, and it says "A+. Good Work" written on the top of the essay. A hearing friend approaches and they greet each other in sign. Deaf girl asks hearing girl her grade. Hearing girl replies that she received a "B". Deaf girl looks puzzled, and signs that she received an "A". Hearing girl sits down next to her and they look at the deaf girl's essay. The expression on her face shows that she sees mistakes on the deaf girl's essay that were not marked wrong. Hearing girl appears uncomfortable, signs that it is time for her to go. Signs, "See you later." Deaf girl looks at her own essay with frustration. She signs, "I want to learn. I don't understand what happened."
Following captions appear in the final frames:
A Dishonest System
Let's Unite
Show Obama
Why him?
Barak Obama's plan
Better education, end discrimination, increase employment, support independence
The final frame is an illustration of the name sign for Obama using the "o" and "b" handshapes in the change sign.
Hope that helps.
