So it's just animal, embroyotic or animal/human hybrid research that I don't like. It does leave a lot of other options. Besides which humans and animals are differant. What works with a human doesn't always work with another species and visa versa. So we have to test on humans eventually anyway. Sometimes this has very bad results.

Macain says that he wants ethnics in research although he's refering to not testing on live embroyo's I think. I read this on his website. I don't really know his views on animal based research as he doesn't give it a mention.
